Our Ministries

St Andrew’s is a congregation that strives to keep in step with God’s Spirit (Gal 5:25). As individuals, we carry the name of Jesus with us wherever we go. As a congregation, we have sought to faithfully craft ministry programs that represent the care and presence of God. As a Christian congregation, we have five core ministry practices: worship, mission, discipleship, fellowship, and service.

Youth

Our youth program meets weekly on Monday nights at St. Andrew’s from 7-9 pm, students in grades 6-12 are welcome! We also meet on the third Friday of most months during the school year from 7-9:30 pm, for games nights and other activities. Click HERE to learn more and access our calendar!

Missions

Our congregation is home to several ongoing mission projects. These projects aim to serve others and proclaim Jesus. We have hosted a mission to support education in Haiti for over thirty years. We run a semi-annual youth mission to El Salvador and Nicaragua. And we are very pleased to be able to help meet local needs, through volunteering and supporting day camps, Christmas hampers, drop-in-centers, our local food bank, knitters and sewers, prayer projects, and community benevolence.

DISCIPLESHIP

As a congregation that has committed to following Jesus, we are committed to growing to become more like Jesus. We enjoy making space in congregational life for small groups, bible studies, prayer groups, coffee houses, breakfast series, retreats, and other practices that help us to keep in step with God’s Spirit. We believe that God calls us forward in Christian growth.

community

We understand that it should not be taken for granted, that Christians have the privilege of meeting together. We celebrate the fact that God has brought us together to participate in the Christian life. Our congregation members can be caught at any number of informal events with one another, such as campfires, birthdays, or afternoon teas. We also host structured events for the congregation to connect with one another. We’ve enjoyed hosting regular dinners, board game nights, crafting sessions, and other interest groups.
