Youth Mission
Nicaragua Youth Mission
Every other year a group of the youth of St. Andrew's travel to Nicaragua to participate in mission work. This includes construction and painting, as well as ministering to the children in the country and the people in their communities. In preparation for this the youth go through a training program in which they learn to share their faith with others through testimonials, skits and songs. They are encouraged to take personal responsibility for the mission through fundraising, group building activities and the gathering and sorting of supplies to be taken with them and given to the people of Nicaragua.
The experience proves to be a major step in the growth of their Christain faith - an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.
